Our History

The journey of ECES through the years

The Electronics and Communication Engineering Society (ECES) was established in 1978 at De La Salle University to provide ECE students with a platform for academic excellence, professional growth, and social development.

Over the decades, ECES has grown from a small group of passionate ECE enthusiasts to one of the most active and respected academic organizations at DLSU. The society has continuously adapted to the evolving technological landscape while maintaining its core mission of nurturing future ECE professionals.

Throughout its history, ECES has organized numerous workshops, seminars, and competitions that have helped thousands of students enhance their technical skills and professional network. The organization has also fostered strong ties with industry partners, creating valuable opportunities for members to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices.

Today, ECES continues to uphold its legacy of excellence while embracing innovation and looking toward the future of electronics and communication engineering.
